Mikado Cast - Tour 2012 to 2013
We're delighted to announce the cast for our Mikado 2012/13 production, a superb mix of up and coming young professional singers and experienced Opera Anywhere performers. We are very pleased to welcome back after a long absence, Nikki Bagshaw, who has agreed to take on the unenviable task of performing in the ensemble as well as covering the role of Peep Bo. Katie Blackwell at 18 is the youngest member of the cast performs Peep Bo, Myvanwy Bentall and Paloma Bruce share the role of Yum Yum and Sarah-Ann Cromwell takes on the role of Pitti Sing whilst also the Production Manager role!
Lawrence Olsworth-Peter is Nanki Poo, David Ireland Pooh Bah whilst Edwin Pitt Mansfield doubles as Pish Tush and Stage Manager whilst 'covers' for the Mikado. Christopher Jacklin is the Mikado and also covers for Pish Tush. Mike & Vanessa Woodward are KoKo and Katisha.
Paula Chitty directs for the first time for Opera Anywhere
Nia Williams is our music director who also accompanies the performance on piano (some performances include an orchestra and some with Nick Planas on flute).
